A grape is a fruiting berry of the deciduous woody vines of the botanical genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten fresh as table grapes or they can be used for making wine, jam, juice, jelly, grape seed extract, raisins, vinegar, and grape seed oil. The altered consciousness produced by wine has been considered religious since its origin. The Greeks worshiped Dionysus and Bacchus and the Romans carried on his cult. Consumption of ritual wine was part of Jewish practice since Biblical times and, as part of the eucharist commemorating Jesus's Last Supper, became even more essential to the Christian Church. Although Islam nominally forbade the production or consumption of wine, during its Golden Age, alchemists such as Geber pioneered wine's distillation for medicinal and industrial purposes such as the production of perfume. The Turkic Uyghurs were even responsible for reintroducing viticulture to China from the Tang dynasty onwards.

Nizina is the table grape seeded, the taste of the fruit harmonious, good balance between sweet and sour. This variety was breeded by Kraynov V.N., from Russia and is a kind of grape hybrid cross between results Talisman x Tomaysky. Hybrid grape varieties that are the product of a crossing of two or more Vitis species. This is in contrast to crossings between grape varieties of the same species, typically Vitis vinifera, the European grapevine.
This grape characteristic with berry weight: 12-16 g and cluster weight: 600-800 g. This variety is very recomended because this type of grape is resistant to diseases and Shoot vigour is strong. The resistant to diseases we use 5-Point Scale where 1 Point means that variety is imune against diseases and 5 Point means that variety is susceptible. This variety has a value of resistant to diseases 2.5-3 poin.
Depending on the individual vine, flowers might be female, male, or hermaphroditic. Nizina flower is hermaphriditic, is a normal condition, enabling a form of sexual reproduction in which either partner can act as the "female" or "male".
Nizina very compatibility with grafting them to rootstock varieties. Why we need the rootstock variety..? There are a few varieties of grape is prone to attack by root pest, such as grape phylloxera and parasitic nematodes. Vitis vinifera vines can be protected from these pests by grafting them to rootstock varieties derived from other vine species and resistant hybrids. Many of the rootstocks used for this purpose are adapted to particular soil types, chemistry, and fertility. They may also be used to overcome vineyard problems such as drought, excess water, and salinity.
